Krista Manganiello, MA, LMHC
Outside of working with clients, I am a mother of two school-aged children and I've been married for over fifteen years. I have 2 Golden Retrievers who have had some training in the therapy world. They have taught me a great deal about presence, connection, and unconditional love. I believe that animals can play an important role in supporting mental health by reducing stress, increasing feelings of companionship, and helping us stay grounded in the present moment.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about building a trusting relationship with my clients. I want our relationship to be a place where you feel safe to share and grow. I provide clients with a place for meaningful collaboration of ideas in order to find short and long-term solutions to problems. I specialize in working with children, couples, and families dealing with transitions, divorce, trauma, depression and anxiety.
I have over 15 years of experience with individuals, couples and families. I am an adoption competent therapist, trained in parent coordination, family mediation and skilled in helping children and families navigate life changes and struggles.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida.
I am passionate about providing clients with a safe place where they can be heard and find the solutions and coping skills to navigate through the many transitions that life throws us.
